Nurse Sexually Abusing Patient
GRESHAM, Ore. - The husband of a woman recovering from a brain aneurysm used a hidden camera to record a nurse entering the patient's room and sexually abusing her in the middle of the night, authorities say.Elisa Deaine Peterson, 27, was arrested Friday and charged with sexual abuse and unlawful sexual penetration. Bail was set at $70,000.
The alleged victim was a patient at the Rest Harbor Rehabilitation and Extended Care Center, recovering from an aneurysm she suffered a year ago.
Her husband suspected something was wrong three weeks ago when he noticed that his 46-year-old wife was getting worse and that she was afraid to be alone or go to sleep at night. The husband installed a small video camera in her room, and shortly before midnight on June 6, he recorded the incident.
