Here's your chance to get all of the currently issued state quarters! These quarters have been carefully selected from bags of quarters obtained directly from the US Mint. You can be sure that these are among the best examples of each state quarter and will be a cherished collectible now, and for a lifetime of collecting. From 1999 to 2008, the U.S. Mint will issue a new state quarter approximately every 10 weeks. Every year 5 state quarters are released, one from each mint, Philadelphia and Denver, making ten different state quarters each year.

On December 1 1997, The 50 States Commemorative Coin Program Act was singed. The Commemorative Program was designed to honor each of the 50 states, promote patriotism and generate public interest in United States History. The new State Quarters will be produced at the Denver and Philadelphia Mints. Each year, five different designs will be produced. The Program will run 10 years resulting in 50 State Commemorative coins. The State quarter Program is great for kid and adults of all ages. State designs are displayed on the reverse (tails) of the quarters, while the obverse (heads) of the quarters continue to display the familiar image of George Washington.

To accommodate state designs on the reverse, the words "United States of America", "Quarter Dollar", "Liberty", and "In God We Trust" have been moved to the obverse. Coin collecting is patriotic, interesting, and fun for the whole family. Coin collections have been passed down from generation to generation and become a treasured family heirloom. And you never know, sometimes they make a great investment.
