Ella Fitzgerald was one of the greatest Jazz musicians ever. Her most famous albums, 'Songbooks', were dedicated to Americas great composers and lyricists. The fans loved her scat singing which was her singing trademark. Ella was one of the first African American Jazz musicians to appear on television. She has appeared on t.v. over 200 times since. Ella Fitzgerald has made a great impact on Jazz and will always be "The First Lady of Song."
